Historic Stadium High School was was built around the turn of the nineteenth century.  Intended to be a grand hotel till fire gutted the structure, it was later dedicated as a school. Students today enjoy a more recent restoration and a fabulous Commencement Bay view afforded by its cliff topping waterfront location.
